The burning sun

the north wind,

a spring eternal.

For you are as constant as these.

You were there for me,

you were here for me

when I thought it was the end.

You were my beginning,

you are what makes me whole,

an intricate part of the puzzle.

The piece that makes sense,

the piece that completes me.

As the stars complete the midnight sky,

as the sparkle completes the diamond.

As a breath completes our life,

your love completes my being.

When the sun goes down

your warmth heats my flesh. . .always.
