When I die please do not cry.
Don't waste your breath on my death.
Let me go where the wind doesn't blow.
On this new road I travel,
I will be alone with no love.
No one to kiss, no one to think of,
My soul will surely unravel.
On this day just turn away,
Let my wings soar through the door,
Into life's harshness of death's darkness.
This emotional lonely highway,
Leads me to a hopeless destiny,
No riches, no regal majesty,
And especially no place to pray.
Just to silently talk as I walk,
Down a path to face the devil's wrath. . .
