"Perhaps To Reminisce"

Life isn't what it seems,

full of pain and crazy schemes.

Now I know when hit bottom

I'll be on my own,

with my heart as cold as stone.

When I again rise to the top,

I'll be sure to love more freely,

I'll again feel like a human completely.

We all know that must happen,

because my luck doesn't work that way,

even when I'm old and gray. . .
