As I lay down time takes its toll,
can you sense it,
the departure of my wicked soul.
The mosaic sky beacons it openly
with open arms,
I leave the ravaged earth so calmly.
The heavens serene to the sight,
looking down from above,
I see the world upon a starry night.
Now I remember sweet September,
the crisp air so free,
then I suddenly died in coldest December.
Who says Spring is the innocent start,
my journey has just begun,
upon this angel's journey I shall depart.
