What light in your saddened eye do I see,
not one of a discontented lover
searching for an inventive way to flee,
into a vestal heart to discover.
A true reason freedom shall be attained,
feel free to travel to places that console.
These embraces shall no longer be contained,
that deliver crystal streams to parched souls.
Permit lush valleys sweet moistness of love,
perhaps barren fields can again bear fruit.
In the darkened skies is witnessed the dove,
it takes a distant unfamiliar route.
You spirit shall soar skyward if agreed,
for your joy my barren heart does concede.
