When you're backed against a wall,
and you think you can't make it,
reach down deep inside, believe in yourself.
Such a simple but important word,
with such a powerful meaning,
standing firm, not backing down at any cost.
To bravely stand tall in your beliefs,
JFK in the Cuba missile crisis,
like the USA and its allies in World War Two.
A valiant dream of Martin Luther Kings,
to believe in the mountain top,
to believe in equality all the human races.
One chance to dance in the raging rain,
no longer walk because of the pain,
the enduring heart to visit the stars and beyond.
To sincerely expand our knowledge,
in a universe so vast and wide,
to stand in the face of a devastating fear.
Fear not the shadow of insurmountable evil,
for it shall be powerfully overcome,
by the heartfelt soul and human determination. . .
