Whether in the eyes

of a woman's soul,

or in the heart

of a beautiful child.

The dark cannot survive

the light of humanity.

It fades into

the shade of midnight.

Only to be exposed

by the light of the moon.

Trying to escape in the day,

only to be burned,

by the sunlight of hope. . .
