Of sunlit mornings, golden afternoons
Loving away the moments of the day,
Deep in cool evenings of the month of June.
Midnight, never leading our hearts astray.
Preparing us for romantic mornings,
Waking moments our caresses are felt,
When these stars rise again without warning
True deeds that are desirably heartfelt.
On this day our love does shine like the sun,
Faltering not when dark clouds do appear,
Such labored flesh melts our souls into one,
Our embraces no longer shelter tears.
Days mastered of painful remembrances
Memories as these die with a vengeance. . .
